About Us

Sandbag Ltd came to fruition in the early part of 2002. With many years of experience within the ethical manufacturing world, there was recognition that this kind of service was not being offered to clients looking to manufacture artists' merchandise. The starting point for Sandbag was to offer this service to new clients who were specifically looking for high quality ethically made produce. Sandbag is devoted to pushing the boundaries of quality; quality of fabrics, quality of garments and quality of life for the numerous staff who work to help us achieve this goal.

Alongside Sandbag's ethical manufacturing ability is the experience to offer bespoke on-line shop solutions to all new clients. This enables our clients to sell items throughout the world while Sandbag also offers storage, pick, pack and despatch solutions - all with full customer care services for every individual client and their valued customers.

Since Sandbag began, we have been incredibly fortunate to work with a fantastic range of artists - from charities through rock and pop to the theatrical world. We are able to offer all clients our experience in developing and managing ethical products and organising these within the on-line shopping world to make them accessible to customers everywhere. All our shops are developed in house with seamless links from the artists' site to ensure continuity for the end user.

As our experience grows, so does the wish to evolve and offer services unlike any other seen in the merchandise business. We hope you will browse through our clients where you can see first hand the on-line shop solutions we have created for our clients and take a look at the many and varying items ethically manufactured by Sandbag Ltd.

"Consumers increasingly care about the working conditions of people who make or supply their goods, which is why Oxfam GB has an Ethical Purchasing Policy. Oxfam chose Sandbag as its supplier of teeshirts because of its company-wide commitment to ensuring good standards in the supply chain, as well as the quality of its products. Sandbag selects suppliers who are willing to be open about any problems, and then helps them improve standards over time."
